The Workday Tester will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Workday implementations through comprehensive testing procedures. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, this role involves designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and contributing to the success of Workday projects.
Responsibilities:
- Test Planning: Collaborate on comprehensive test plans for Workday implementations.
- Test Case Design: Create and execute test cases based on specifications.
- Defect Identification: Identify, document, and prioritize defects, facilitating timely resolutions
- Integration and Performance Testing: Ensure seamless integration and assess system performance.
- UAT Support: Collaborate with end-users during User Acceptance Testing.
- Documentation: Maintain test documentation, including plans and execution reports.
- Automation Collaboration: Work with automation engineers to explore and implement test automation opportunities.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to ongoing improvements in testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience: Proven testing experience with a focus on Workday; familiarity with Workday modules.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and automated testing is a plus.
- Communication: Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
