The SAP PP QM Consultant is responsible for implementing, customizing, and supporting SAP PP QM modules in order to optimize production planning and quality management processes for a company. The consultant works closely with the business users and stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement changes to the SAP system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business processes and requirements, and recommend solutions to optimize production planning and quality management processes using SAP PP QM modules
- Configure and customize SAP PP QM modules to meet business requirements
- Develop functional specifications and perform testing of SAP PP QM solutions
- Provide end-user training and support for SAP PP QM modules
- Work closely with other SAP functional and technical teams to integrate SAP PP QM with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and FI/CO
- Stay up-to-date with new SAP PP QM functionalities and recommend improvements to existing processes
- Work on projects independently and as part of a team, following project management methodologies and best practices
- Provide technical and functional expertise in troubleshooting and resolving SAP PP QM issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in implementing and supporting SAP PP QM modules
- Strong knowledge of SAP PP QM functionalities including Production Planning, Quality Management, Material Master, BOM, and Routing
- Experience in configuring and customizing SAP PP QM modules
- Ability to write functional specifications and perform testing of SAP PP QM solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills to interact with business users and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
