As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of our software development and deployment processes. You will collaborate closely with development, security, and operations teams to integrate security best practices seamlessly into our DevOps workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans across development and production environments.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Automate security controls, compliance checks, and incident response procedures.
- Monitor and analyze system logs and metrics to detect and respond to security incidents.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security testing into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevSecOps, security automation, and cloud security.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a focus on security.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and best practices.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified DevOps Engineer (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar.
Preferred skills:
- Knowledge of DevSecOps tools and frameworks like OWASP DevSecOps Maturity Model.
- Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and Agile development practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
