We are looking for an AWS Infrastructure Architect who will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. Leveraging your expertise in AWS services and best practices, you will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and design scalable, cost-effective, and highly available cloud architectures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment and operation of cloud infrastructure and provide guidance and expertise to support ongoing optimization and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Must have more than 10+ years of experience in developing applications using AWS cloud-native stack.
- Must have experience working with AI/ML applications including AWS Sagemaker, Azure AI Studio, and Azure cognitive services.
- Candidates must be AWS Certified.
- Must have experience working with AWS or Azure cognitive services. Experience in architecture and implementation of large and highly complex projects, and Data science projects including AWS Bedrock.
- Expertise in defining the architecture, high-level design, low-level design, and developing solutions in AWS Cloud.
- Utilizing services like AWS Lambda, and API Gateway, and exposure to developing serverless applications.
- Expertise in designing data processing and visualization with Python, and Tableau.
- Experience in monitoring & Observability.
- Knowledgeable working in SQL and NoSQL databases, optimizing & tuning queries, and tables.
- Ability to perform quick discovery work and POCs with business in data engineering tasks.
- Nice to have scripting knowledge with Shell or Python. Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD pipeline technologies including EKS, Kubernetes, S3 automation, EC2, GPU Machines, Python, Terraform, RDS, and FinOps.
- Expertise in CICD and Dev-ops using Gitops, and Bitbucket driven automations.
- Maintain and improve data integration pipelines for performance.
- Domain knowledge in Pharma life sciences and drug discovery will be a value add.
- Ability to create estimation and plan for deliverables.
- Experience in scrum/agile framework and methodology.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle, and drive technical requirements sessions, and scrum calls.
- Collaborate with development, and QA team in developing effective strategies, test plans and delivering products to business.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of AWS cloud infrastructure solutions based on client requirements and industry best practices.
- Architect highly available, scalable, and resilient cloud environments using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
- Design and implement security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security, to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of cloud resources.
- Collaborate with application developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to define infrastructure requirements, deployment strategies, and automation workflows.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) templates using tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
- Perform cloud infrastructure assessments, identify optimization opportunities, and provide recommendations for improving performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, and provide guidance and training to internal teams and clients.
- Participate in pre-sales activities, including solution architecture design, technical presentations, and proposal development, to support business development efforts.
