SAP FICO (Accounting and Taxes MX) Consultant

We are looking for a SAP FICO Consultant specializing in Accounting and Taxes for the Mexican market who will play a key role in the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP FICO modules. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless integration of SAP FICO solutions with a focus on compliance with Mexican accounting and tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling financial processes, understanding tax requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Implementation and configuration of SAP FICO modules, with a specific focus on Accounting and Taxes in the Mexican market.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze accounting and tax requirements for Mexico.
• Configure SAP FICO settings to meet specific business needs, ensuring compliance with Mexican accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Provide expertise in SAP FICO-related integrations with other SAP modules and external systems.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding and utilization of SAP FICO functionalities related to Mexican accounting and taxes.
• Stay current with SAP updates, releases, and changes in Mexican tax laws to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the finance team to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within SAP FICO.

Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO modules, including hands-on experience in configuration and implementation.
• Strong understanding of Mexican accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP FICO issues.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with SAP best practices and a commitment to maintaining data integrity.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
