Parts Management Analyst

The Parts Management Team is crucial to the success of prototype builds. Each analyst will collaborate with the team while also working independently to achieve project goals. Analysts may be responsible for managing a specific set of parts, suppliers, or projects, or they may assist other team members in managing these areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop a plan for every part on prototype builds
  • Identify and escalate issues where they may affect prototype build starts
  • Track all parts for programs
  • Identify critical information concerning part delivery risks.
  • Work with suppliers to develop delivery plans of all parts of key commodities
  • Schedule and host containment meetings to resolve problems and deliver a successful build on time
  • Utilize Database and Analytics to track all parts/orders
  • Maintain detailed, accurate, and up-to-date comments as well as supplier contacts on all orders
  • Identify critical information concerning part delivery risks
  • Pursue supplier responses and work to resolve critical open orders
  • Potential to travel to supplier
