We are looking for a skilled and experienced GEP (Global Sourcing and Procurement) Consultant. The GEP Consultant will work closely with our clients to help them optimize their sourcing and procurement strategies, reduce costs, and enhance their supply chain efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their procurement and sourcing needs and challenges.
- Sourcing Strategies: Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes, reduce costs, and improve supplier relationships.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate, select, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Identify opportunities for streamlining supply chain processes and improving efficiency.
- Market Research: Stay up-to-date with market trends and supplier capabilities to identify potential opportunities and threats.
- Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis to identify savings opportunities and develop cost reduction initiatives.
- Contract Negotiations: Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Compliance: Ensure that procurement practices are in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of procurement initiatives.
- Client Collaboration: Provide regular updates and reports to clients and collaborate with their teams to implement changes.
Qualifications::
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of procurement software and tools (e.g., e-procurement systems).
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS) is a plus.
