DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced DevOps Engineer to lead and execute the design, implementation, and management of our client’s DevOps practices and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of modern DevOps principles, tools, and practices, with a particular focus on Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, GitHub Advanced Security, and monitoring solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and manage robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines that facilitate seamless software development, testing, and deployment processes.
2. Lead the adoption of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices using tools such as Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources.
3. Utilize Ansible to automate configuration management and orchestration tasks, ensuring consistency and reliability across the infrastructure.
4. Implement and optimize GitHub Actions workflows to automate software build, test, and deployment pipelines.
5. Leverage GitHub Advanced Security features to enhance code security, vulnerability scanning, and threat detection.
6. Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to identify performance bottlenecks, optimize resource utilization, and improve system reliability.
7. Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure proactive identification and resolution of system issues.
8. Participate in security best practices implementation, including access control, encryption, and compliance requirements.
9. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior members of the DevOps team.
10. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in DevOps and CI/CD.
11. Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of new tools and technologies that enhance the DevOps ecosystem.

Qualifications::

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, with a focus on CI/CD processes, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, GitHub Advanced Security, and monitoring solutions.
• Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines for both traditional and containerized applications.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code practices and hands-on experience with Terraform for provisioning cloud resources.
• Solid understanding of Ansible for automation, configuration management, and orchestration.
• Experience with GitHub Actions for building, testing, and deploying applications.
• Familiarity with GitHub Advanced Security tools and practices for code security analysis.
• Proven track record of implementing monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) to ensure system health and performance.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and tool development.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
